THE POWER TEAM

ADVANCED BOXING PROGRAM

The Power Team programs is an opportunity for the Power House members to partner up and simulate real life boxing situations in a contact-free environment.

A Power Team session is 60 minutes long and can have up to 8 people in attendance. Once again, the purpose of this session is to take you off the heavy bag and put you in front of an opponent. This is a contact-free session, which means we will not be punching/hitting each other. Instead, we will be simulating real offensive/defensive boxing techniques across from person. That way, we can track their movements, reactions, mannerisms, etc...

This is such a crucial step in your boxing development. Whatever you learn in these sessions will follow you back into the boxing group fitness classes.

TECHNIQUE

PARTNER TRAINING

While boxing in Power Teams, you will be tasked with keeping your partner safe and making sure you each have a positive experience. During each session, we switch partners back-and-forth so that we can experience different fighting styles.

It is incredibly important to take those necessary "next steps" as a boxer. You have to come off the bag and start your real training. The goal for Power Teams is to supply you with a trustworthy and safe environment to do so!
